Stanford Wong (real name John Ferguson) is a mathematician and gambling author best known for his book Professional Blackjack and for popularising the strategy technique known as "Wonging" — entering a blackjack game only when the count becomes favourable. His contributions to blackjack theory are considered groundbreaking, and his software, the Blackjack Analyser, was one of the first tools to help players simulate and test strategies. Wong’s name is synonymous with serious, mathematical gambling.
